Religious holiday dates come from the Presidency of Religious Affairs (Diyanet) lists for 2024–2030.
How to use it
- Choose: count between two dates, or add business days to a date.
- Enter the dates or the number of business days.
- Tick the options if Saturdays are working days or if you want eves counted as holidays.
How it works
Weekends and Turkish public holidays are skipped: 1 January, 23 April, 1 May, 19 May, 15 July, 30 August, 29 October, and the Ramadan and Sacrifice feasts. Religious holidays move every year; the tool uses the dates announced by the Presidency of Religious Affairs. Eves and the afternoon of 28 October are half-day holidays. Extra administrative leave days announced by the government are not included.
Frequently asked questions
Are eves working days?
Eves and the afternoon of 28 October are half-day holidays. The tool counts them as working days by default, and you can count them as holidays instead.
What about extended holidays?
Some years the government adds administrative leave for the public sector. Those are not official holidays, so the tool counts them as working days. If your company closes too, subtract them yourself.
Which years are covered?
Religious holiday dates for 2024–2030 come from the lists of the Presidency of Religious Affairs. Outside that range only fixed-date holidays are skipped, and the tool says so.
Are the start and end dates counted?
When counting between two dates, both are included: Monday to Friday is 5 business days. When adding business days, the start date is not counted; counting starts the next day.
