How to use it

How it works
Turkish IBANs start with TR and have 26 characters. The two check digits are verified with the mod-97 rule, and the next five digits are the bank code. The tool catches typos. It can’t confirm the account exists or who owns it.
Frequently asked questions
Does a valid IBAN mean the account exists?
No, only that it’s correctly written. The bank checks the owner at payment time.
How is the bank found?
From the five-digit bank code in the IBAN. Banks not in the list show just the code.
Are my IBANs stored?
No. Everything runs in your browser.
